I like that you didn't use just traditional colors - I'm such an old fashioned person that that's what I'd do. But now after seeing them like this, I'm going to start using other colors.

The socks in the top right corner are (and I'm copying from the label) Steinbach Wolle Strapaz Norweger Ringel. I don't remember where I got it or I'd tell you. It's 80% wool / 20% polyamid (acrylic?) and I think the color is 'partie.'
I am an artist and art teacher living in north central Alabama. I am interested in art, art history, knitting, ancient textiles, mixed-media, ceramics, game design, video game design, the use of technology in education, gamification in education, and ways to motivate and engage high school students.
